Luteconv WebUI - Convert tablature from one format to another

Luteconv Converter

Luteconv Web UI is a Web interface built around the Luteconv command-line utility developed by Paul Overell. Luteconv Web UI is developed and maintained by Stefan Szepe and David M. Weigl, and hosted at mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, Austria.

Luteconv is a specialised tool designed to convert between a variety of available lute tablature encoding file formats, including Fronimo, MIDI, MEI, MusicXML, and TabCode, among others. Luteconv Web UI provides a simple wrapper for all of Luteconv's functionalities, both through this Web-browser interface and via a Web API that can be used to integrate Luteconv with other Web applications. This API is used to convert lute tablature files to MEI for editing from within the mei-friend MEI editor, also developed and hosted at mdw.

This service creates Web-accessible copies of your uploaded encodings as part of the conversion process, but these are accessible only via a unique link hash value, and are periodically deleted.

This project is supported in part by the E-LAUTE Project, funded by Weave (FWF / DFG / SNSF): I 6019.
